Want Love? You Gotta Know This!

Did you notice the last time the sun was shining?  Not just on you, but on the entire hemisphere where you live?  Yeah, it’s sort of consistent, isn’t it?  Without it we die.

Your beliefs about Who, what, when or how the sun was created don’t affect the amount of sunshine you get.

We’ve learned about the Solar System and have a basic understanding of how it works.  Why would we believe that the life giving rays of the sun fall only upon some favored, chosen, or “just lucky” people?  Maybe the sun shines just for those who believe they’re worthy?  Nonsense!

But these are common beliefs and descriptions of Love; where it is, and who gets it.

The Truth About Love

Regardless of Who, what, how or where you believe Love comes from, we want you to know that Love is a System that works the same for every person, everywhere.  Your beliefs and/or religious faith don’t affect how the System of Love works; they will only affect how you choose to allow it to work.

Love is hardwired into our “Operating System” and placed within each of us by our Creator.   If we don’t receive and give enough Love at the right intensities throughout our lives, we fail to thrive, flourish, or become happy people.  Without it, we die.

The System of Love revolves around key elements that require a shift in thinking, and specific actions that we must take to “cause” Love; this applies to our Love for others as well as becoming Loved and Loveable ourselves.

Authentic Love doesn’t depend on emotion, though it often triggers an emotional response.  Love isn’t the same as “liking,” and it isn’t something we’re supposed to keep within a small circle of people we “like” or who “like” us.   It’s at the core of every single, daily encounter between people, down to the tiniest detail.

Our entire behavior toward other people and things, at all times, is either Love, or it is not.

Unlike the sun, automatically rising and setting without any help from us, Love depends on human effort, action and interaction. It’s in our hands.

Get This!

If you’re beginning to “get this,” then you’ve just taken the first, crucial step toward your new understanding of Love and how it works.

You can’t control the choices other people make or how they react to life’s situations.  You can only control your own behavior and make choices that align with Love.  With critical information grounded in The Technology of Love, a new understanding of how Love works and what makes it “happen” is literally at your fingertips.  The guessing game is over.

“The Technology of Love is actually quite simple: just as there are ways to generate Hate, there are specific ways to generate Love. It’s time we all know what they are. . . ”  –Charles E. Hansen

Thanks for your comment, Ravi. I’m not sure what you mean by “computerized” definition of Love. Maybe you are thinking that the word “technology” refers to the domain of computers? Can you expound on your thoughts? Thanks!

Love is the desire to do good for others. Desire comes from within. It really has nothing to do with like. We like ice cream. The Eskimo has 25 words for snow because it is important to them. In the sense we are using the word love here, we only have two words that are related: affection and devotion. Perhaps that is an indication of how important it is to us.

Travis, you are so right on!!
The ‘intent to please,’ must ride the action, much like the jockey rides the horse. If not, it’s not Love.
